In November 2009 the Worldconnectors published a quickscan about the financial crisis and development. It was used as input for the round table discussion organised in the same month. The quickscan addresses short the history of financial globalisation, the causes and impact of the worldwide crisis, and the responses and interventions after the financial crisis. It specifically addresses how the current crisis should be seen as an opportunity to embrace a new economic system based on values of economic, social, and environmental sustainability and global ethics.
